Is it normal to get tonsil stones?

I am perfectly healthy, but every once in a while, I check my tonsils, and when I do, I find a white spot on the left side.
So what's a girl to do? I take a Q-tip and try to scrape that sucker off there.

If I am successful in my tonsil scraping, my Q-tip holds a semi-hard, very stinky glob of (pus?). I suspect that this is the source of my chronic halitosis.

Is It Normal?
Help us keep this site organized and clean. Thanks!

  • I wonder if that's why some people get their tonsils removed.

  • I get them. They are extremely common so don't worry they will not kill you they'll just bug you if you dont clean them out.
