Random was spot on. I've also had this. It sounds very much like postural hypotension - low blood pressure triggered by standing from a sitting or lying position. However, the fact that you're vomiting as well is a worry. I'd get that checked. Other than that, remember that the reason we faint in this situation is to force the body to a prone position so that blood can reach the brain. For this reason, you shouldn't try to make someone who's fainted, stand back up. It defeats the body's purpose in having made them faint to begin with! More salt is often the right advice, but I still think you should get checked and find out the underlying cause.
