Yeah bro same things happens to me sometimes i am so mad that i am out of my mind and i break everything. Hurting my self seemed a solution too like knock my head against a cement wall or stick a nail in my arm ( i don't cut myself cuz im not an emo faggot ) . I really don't know if it is normal and i never will but the solution to stop would be your mother kicking you out of the house and calling the police the next time you freakout ;) worked for me
