I have heard of chiropractic treatment being a scam too. Most people in traditional medicine see it as the work of dangerous frauds who only want money and don't care about their patients. My brother is extremely tall and suffered such bad back problems that he consulted a chiropractor. He doesn't have back problems any more. He was an instant success. That doesn't mean the chiropractor helped him, of course. There could be any number of reasons.
Not worth dismissing just because traditional medicine has a reason for dismissing it, though.
I read that it is effective when treating your back, for instance, but that it should not be marketed as a miracle cure, which unfortunately, it sometimes is. I guess he found a good one, or was helped because they treated his back and not his ankle, neck, shoulder, etc. I always wondered how a back doctor could do that, but I just thought they must be really good at healing people.
Is it normal to get taken advantage of by scams?
