Is it normal to get sleep paralysis and future dreams a week every year?

Every year for almost 7 years now I would just go through a week of sleep paralysis and dreams that somehow foretells the events tommorrow.Sometimes they would occur on seperate weeks and sometimes in the same week.

I have suffered from frequent sleep paralysis since I was a child which occurs once to multiple times a week so, in my opinion, that's not to weird.
Personally, I don't believe we can detect future events but rather people do something they once did in a dream and grab onto that connection a little to tightly. If we could it would be a redundant evolutionary technique due to our lack of foresight when awake and inability to recall dreams that happen earlier during the REM cycle of sleep (most of the dreams we remember happen in the last hour or so as we're about to begin waking up).

    • I don't think grab onto it is something I've done before.Because some dreams are quiet right andthere is really nothing I can do to make it happen like I had a dream about a car wuth busted engine and the second I wake up to get ready for school my mon told me our car is having problems with it's engine.

Yeah but did you dream that the car was your car? Did you dream it was your mom who told you about the car?
I've dreamt of people committing suicide off of a bridge near my house but that doesn't mean I foresaw it taking place. People usually jump off of that bridge so me dreaming it isn't foreseeing events.
People's cars break down. The chances are low but they're there that you'd dream of an event that, coincidentally, happened the next day.
