Is it normal to get sick of the 'tag it*:'?

Whenever I write up my "IIN" question, I can't say why, but I get irritated having to tag it. And honestly, this goes with really anything. I went on Urban Dictionary to make a definition once, and got really annoyed having to tag it/put keywords in. I really can't understand it, because its not that I don't know what words to put in. I think it just takes up more time, because I always wanna make sure I put in a lot. I end up putting a list of words in. Is this normal? Anyone else feel the same way?

    It helps other people to search the subject they're looking for. Makes it easier to have some order, and doesn't really require too much effort from you.

    My understanding it is used for search engine purposes. When a person search thru the database - part of that search is done on the keywords you provided for the post.
