Is it normal to get random adrenaline rushes?

Sometimes, usually at night after not moving around all day, I'll make pretend that I'm angry at someone and get a rush (I'm not actually angry though. I can still control my emotions). I become more physically capable than I could possibly be otherwise. I find this interesting because I know that training to get that rush at the right time is important for many sports. I don't know if that's actually what I'm feeling though or if it's something else. I've looked it up, and everything I see is about panic attacks. I don't remember ever having a panic attack, and I don't feel anxious when this happens.

I can hype myself up if I want to do so.

A panic attack is a rush of adrenaline. I used to have them but I learned to channel it into other things rather than just panicking. Whenever I would get a panic attack I would run up the stairs or do some pushups to use it up quicker. When I lift weights I can activate the adrenaline voluntarily, I basically just tell myself in my head to "flick the switch" and I can power through a lift without any nervousness.
