Is it normal to get pissed when people say super man is dead?

For some reason when I see shirts that say "Super Man is Dead" it really pisses me off. I had a rough childhood and held on to the hope that there is good in the world. I'm not sure if i have found it yet but i will keep looking as long as there are people out there who could be called heros!

    Judging by the superman movies, he is dead. Look at batman, no super powers and yet is a billion times more popular than someone who has pretty much everything. It just shows anyone can be a hero.
