Is it normal to get migranes on planes?

Okay, so ive never really had this problem before, but i flew on a plane over thanksgiving and on our ascent nothing out of the ordinary. Upon descending i felt a really sharp pain in my ears, from the pressure change, and i almost yelled out loud it hurt so bad, then it kept hurting and it hust in my jaw, my ears, and in my head to. I thought i wasnt going to make it to the ground and when i got off the plane i still had slight pain. Is this normal??

You need to pop your ears to get rid of the pressure. Try yawning or blowing your nose.

Yea, I had the same, I ended up on the floor in agony. The air stewards were not impressed. I got it because I had a cold at the same time meaning the changes in pressure fucked up my sinues.

The most annoying part - I looked around and saw NO ONE holding their ears like me...and I was also crying. Not on purpose, but my eyes were tearing because of the pain..it was insane.

Woah, same here. Did you feel as if your ears would just explode? The pain was so bad for me last time that I was praying to God (and im not religious) that I'd survive. I seriously was checking my ears for blood it hurt so bad. I never had that much pain in my life and because of this, I fear flying again.

The pain radiated throughout my jaw and head/cheeks..everywhere. It was the worse pain ever.
