Is it normal to get jealous when guys talk to your best friend?

No I don't mean I get jealous that a guy is talking to her instead of me I get jealous that hes talking to her period. I dont appreciate him talking to her and in fact I get this strange thought that hes scum no matter who he is. I dont even like her boyfriends. What the hell does this mean? Am I into her and don't want someone else to talk to her?

    What if you became a couple? What are you going to do then? Beat the crap out of every guy who she talks to and keep her a prisoner? Get real mate!

    When friends get boyfriends, they spend much less time with their friends. Thats probably whats bothering you, conciously or unconsiously.

    This happens to me to. I think it's because I like the guy, but nothing has happened between me and him, so I don't know.

    If you're saying you're a guy and you've got a really close friend that's a girl and you don't like it when other dudes talk to her then I tooootally feel you. My friend Rachel is always talking to guys and flirting with them. It pisses me off because I guess I see her as a sister like figure and I don't want her to get hurt by the douches she talks to.

      Well the thing is I AM a girl and NOT a guy so that makes it strange. I feel protective of her and hate it when shes with other guys. I'm not even clingy though in fact she is and I have no problem with her hanging with other friends but its the guys that get to me. Especially dating and such. I don't understand it.
