Is it normal to get inexplicable feelings of rage?

I'm normally a pretty laid back person but from time to time I get these overwhelming feelings of rage and I feel like I just need to hit someone or something. When I get like this I can't calm down at all and almost everything makes me angrier. Usually if I just isolate myself and relax for a bit it goes away, but it's extremely overwhelming and kind of aggravating.

Is It Normal?

  • Try some angry music stick earphones in your ears and let the music take you away momentarily.

  • Have you tried physical exercise? Maybe running or cycling will help.
