I didn't say they shouldn't proofread. I said they probably did. Not everyone learns as easily, plus I'm talking about younger people here casually using the internet. This is no professional setting, and it's not their job to communicate in another language. They went out of their way to learn it, and a lot of them are probably still in the process of doing so.
Then I won't be anonymous, well I mean not as anonymous. Don't talk to me about "grown up" when you're a middle aged dude looking down on younger people attempting other languages. Most people don't even do that, I sure didn't. It's difficult for some, I barely passed Spanish class. Don't hold everyone to your own standards.
Quite obviously you are one of those that Dubya was talking about when he instituted 'no child left behind'. Teaching to the less apt students in a class only brings the smart ones down to the level of the stupidest student, it does not bring the stupid ones up.
That apparently how you see life. Nobody should strive to pull themselves up, but cruise at their minimum potential, right?
If you want to frequent a site that is littered by those who don't care whether they communicate coherently, don't care that others think poorly of them for not even bothering to proofread their posts, or just not get involved because it's too damn much trouble to decipher what someone is trying to ask, well then your attitude is surely going to give all the lazy, stupid people solace. Good on you for choosing the less challenging path in life.
As for non English speakers on here, I would guess that the number is less than 10%, so that's really a moot point.
Glad you did pass Spanish though. I'm sure it will help you at your job in the fast food industry.

Pressing the post button without proofreading, is just lazy. Spelling a word wrong once, but right another time, in the same post hasn't a damn thing to do with trying; it it is sloppy and lazy.
There are many on here that most wouldn't even know were not native English speakers. THEY are the ones that TRY. Most who make these spelling and grammatical errors you are so willing to overlook, ARE native English speakers and are obviously too lazy (or too unintelligent) to use a spell checker or dictionary, because they just don't care how bad their illiterate posts make them appear. THAT is really the problem; THEY DON'T CARE. And they are the ones who can't get a kiss, a job, a friend, a life worth living and they wonder why. That kind of slovenliness is NOT restricted to this one tiny bit of their lives. It carries over to everything in their life.
So you go ahead and pamper these lazy slobs. Give them support and soothe their ruffled feathers when someone suggests that they could have at the very least proofread their posts. We all make mistakes, but a few seconds using a dictionary, spell checker or proofreading can minimize these considerably, don't you think?

That's funny! How long did you spend in a word program to get all that together? I know I use a lot of commas, that's the way I talk, with pauses. But really, comparing my post to your, "does not know English completely well." is a bit silly. But have on.
You just keep babying the dumbasses and let them think being lazy and not even trying is OK. Their lives will surely benefit from that attitude.
Would you not assume I used a word program; I'm not an idiot. I know basic grammar. I didn't accuse you of anything when you brought up my one mistake multiple times. If anything your mistakes are worse. Using words incorrectly can at least be blamed on dialect and region. There's really no excuse for incorrect commas. But by all means, please keep talking down to me and acting like I'm the idiot in this situation.
This whole thing was about cutting slack to people who are in the process of learning a second language, and you keep bringing up something different.
