YES - you CAN still get an STD even if you use a condom.
1) Latex has pores. Those pores are FIFTY TIMES BIGGER than the HIV virus. SURPRISE!
(aka that means you can still get HIV even if you use a condom)
2) Condoms only cover the male organ (or female, if they're still trying to market those balloons they called female condoms).
STDs are not limited to just those areas. They can also be located AROUND your genitals too.
And not everyone puts a condom on right away. Foreplay after all... touching licking... all of those acts can also help STDs spread.
I know it's not the "cool" thing but if you're unsure of your partner do you really want to take him into your bed? I mean seriously, you're trusting your sexual health to someone ... and do you really know him?
Better yet... can you tell if he's lying? Do you even think you can spot an STD on someone just by looking at him?
I agree with Angel--good advice....also consider the risks with oral and anal sex during which most people don't use condoms/barriers...if you are planning on engaging in sex then both of you should get tested...same as before getting married both of you should get tested...marriage doesn't guarantee monogamy either so if you suspect infidelity get tested!
Is it normal to get an STD, even if you used a condom?
