I would never do it. It limits what you wear, since it won't suit everything. Also, I just don't think they make a person look better than they would without it.
My 20 year old cousin is covered in tattoos, and has a chest piece, which was done well. But it's just so in your face, and I can't imagine why anyone would want that stuck on them forever. It isn't discreet at all.
