I think you ought to read a book called The Gift of Fear by Gavin de Becker! It's very normal for you to feel now that you don't want to date anymore. It sounds to me like you used to think internet dating just for hook-ups was a safe activity, and now you see that is not entirely so. You're probably dealing with some cognitive dissonance, and I think what you are experiencing is normal despite how truly awful it was.
It certainly wouldn't hurt for you to take a break from sex, and dating entirely in order to reevaluate things.
