Is it normal to find porn disgusting, but simple nudity comforting?

I can't stand porn or even sex scenes in movies, but I find nudity comforting, it makes me feel better. I even prefer nude art, anime, or manga to picture of naked people, because then I feel like I'm not violating anyone's modesty.

Whenever I am in a bad mood I watch some anime that has nudity or I look up some nude art, and it makes me smile. It makes my world feel better, and makes me feel all warm and fuzzy like there is some good in the world. But when nudity becomes sexual it makes me uncomfortable. Don't get me wrong, I'm not afraid of sex, I enjoy having sex with my wife. I just hate porn and love nudity.

Is that normal?

    I totally agree with you. Most of the porno are nauseating. Only if it's a very weird one, sometime I like the dialogs.
    But nudity excites me much much more. I have a thing with nudity. Whether it's virtual or art or real nudity goes deep in my heart..and it stays.
    I also love real nude iteration and I often go to the swiss therms for this reason.

    I recognize the difference between nudity and porn. I'm not put off by either, although I have to admit, there are certain genres of porn that I find disturbing and disgusting.
