Is it normal to find japanese commercials hilarious?

Japanese culture is great because it's so different to anything else. Although some of their game shows have scarred my mind. A friend saw a programme in which, as a forfeit, a Japanese woman was stripped naked, tied down to some astroturf, had honey dripped on her more interesting regions and then they let loose a bunch of hungry piglets.

I know there's a bunch of people who will now make it their life's work to track down this show, but seriously, don't. It's just disturbing.

Japanese mcdonalds commercial.

If aliens come to Earth, and they ask us why we say that Japan is freaking weird, just show them some commercials. They'll just say "Oh", leave, and never come back.

Some stuff is funny since you just don't see the context because you can't understand Japanese. I have to admit they have some creative crazy stuff out there.

I LOVE Japanese television & humor. It's perfectly normal.
