Is it normal to find books exciting?

The religious books (not scriptures) I read are incredibly exciting! Whenever I read each book I buy from the internet I'm excited and completely happy, it must be the plot that draws me into them. It has a new chapter or a new snippet of literature I'm about to read and it's exciting! Is that normal?

I feel the same. I've read fantasy books for several years now. I can spend from 1-4 hours
    just reading them.

Absolutely normal. Oh wait, I read it as "boobs" not "books." Just kidding. A lot of people enjoy reading mythology. Keep reading!

I've found books exciting since I taught myself to read aged about 4 and I'm nearly 71. I was called a "bookworm" as a child and one person I was in a relationship with used to get angry because she took it personally when I was so absorbed in what I was reading that (according to her) I was shutting her out.

Even when totally exhausted, I always read at least a few pages of something before I fall asleep at night.

I found it incredibly frustrating when I had cataracts and couldn't read until I had surgery: problem was I kept buying secondhand books and I now have a backlog to work through before I die!

I get excited when a new book from a favorite author comes out. I don't read religious ones but a new compelling story to read and enjoy should bring excitiment for a bit.

What kinda religious books are you reading? I'm just curious.

Mu'tazili book, pantheist book, Noahide book (part of a religion I don't agree with) and a Christian book, not the scriptures.
