Well it all depends on people there. I spend more than 5 hours on tumblr a day and I love my followers and people I follow. Are you a fandom or a hipster blog? I noticed some hipsters can be really judgemntal for anything and fandoms can just scare you off.
You don't have to answer anyone if you don't want to it's YOUR blog after all.
If you think people who ask you too many questions just block them and you shouldn't care what people think about you so much.
