Is it normal to feel weird wearing socks?

I feel weird wearing socks in front of people. Like my friend, he will come over and I won't wear socks. but recently I have worn black socks but I find it impossible for me to wear white socks in front of him. Should I? Am I weird?

    It's the opposite for me I always have to wear socks, especially in front of people! I feel self-conscious about my feet :(

    I understand where you're coming from. Personally, I hate the way that socks feel on my feet and restrict my toes. It makes me feel like I don't have traction, even on carpet. Especially toe socks.

    Socks are indeed annoying, but not like that! I like wearing sandals instead of shoes.
