    I think it is normal because I feel the same way: pretty lonely. But at least I have a few people that I know they love me. Nevertheless do not worry too much about it, soon you'll discover that you are not alone as you think you are, somebody appreciates you, and you are not "weird".
    Relax and let it roll!!!
