Is it normal to feel uncomfortable when people hit on me?

Hmmm is it because you don't like the attention been on you? I find that when somebody says something flattering about me I feel really self concious and aware of people around me, i worry that everyone is looking at me and don't want to be there anymore... or is it me thats the abnormal one? haha
