I’ve told people I’m gay but I have mixed feelings about it. Some days I’m accepting of it and other days I have second thoughts about it. It feels like I want to be bisexual. I’m mourning the loss of my heterosexual life. Can one change from gay to bisexual? Is this normal?
Some people get too focused on the titles. Whether you're gay, bi or straight. Nobody NEEDS to be told. They're allowed to ask if you end up bringing up someone they didn't expect (in this case a female). If you turn up with a partner then they oughta praise ya.

It could also be how one presents themselves, like if you're more attracted to masculinity (ex. Could be a masc female)
Yes, you can change from gay to bisexual. All you need to do is fill in the appropriate forms issued by whatever government agency deals with the official registration of sexual orientation where you live. Once processed, you will be issued with the correct hat, badge and and a revised identity card.

If you're not happy with the sexual identity you've assigned yourself, then clearly the self-applied label isn't actually appropriate. Sexuality isn't an either-or thing; people are too complicated for that to be so.
You are who you are, and your sexual interests are what they are. Some people find it very difficult to understand who they truly are, and not everyone fits into a tidy sexuality category. You can attempt to force yourself into a neat little box if you want to conform to social pressure, but trying to do that wouldn't be true to yourself, and it's unlikely to lead to contentment in the long-term.
