Well not every guy that is rejected in life converts to becoming an asexual, unless you already have those tendencies just pointing out. I understand that you are afraid of being rejected though it happens and everyone has to go through at some stage during their life, I would say feel the fear and do it anyway. Don't let fear stop you! It is just a feeling and it can't harm you just limits you from what you want if you let it get to you.
