When I was 9, I thought like that too. I packed a traveling case and told my dad I'm leaving, he laughed and just nodded because he thought I won't. I hid behind the kitchen counter and left the door open, so after about 10 minutes; he was looking for me. He really thought I ran away, he called everyone in my house to look for me in the areas near our house, LOL. My dad was still in the kitchen looking for me inside the house, I showed up behind him and told him the whole story.
I still think of running away and not telling him though, I hate him a lot now that I know his true nature. It'd be better if he didn't smoke often.
Is it normal to feel the urge of running away from home?
