Is it normal to feel the need to fight crime

hi, i would like to start by saying i live in london, england.
everday i see & hear about some crazed scumbag killing an old lady for her pension book & then using the money he stole on a whore or someone else raping & killing a child then smiling for the cameras as they are sentenced to just 25 years and a complete new identity when they get out.
my point is the system is flawed and there are just some people who are bad eggs, savage animals who will not stop.
these people wont just go away.
more and more iv been thinking maybe i could do something, what if i ended 1 persons life and it saved 10 more in the future and believe me these types are quite easy to find if one knows someone who is really got with a pc if you know what i mean.
honestly when im standing in front of wherever we go when we die, i don't want to say that i just stood by and watched the shit happen all my life.

my mates think im crazy but true,
what do you think? is the shit normal...

    It means you have a good heart if you want to help people. Which is something that's quite nice to have. I agree with the person above me, look into becoming a police officer.

    I have similar thoughts, why is our society so corrupted? When you look back in history, they would've been hanged for their crimes. I think it was a better system to make people understand that the government/police are not joking and that these are serious crimes. People who lack the ability to take notice and care about people around them (not to mention, the environment) should just get off this planet.
