I feel the earth swaying under my feet. All month, every week, every day, every hour. For almost four weeks now. And it doesn't feel real. Back and forth, up and down, like a ship or an earthquake or jelly.
I've already been to a doctor who referred me to an ear specialist and this doctor advises my family doctor to refer me to neuropsychiatry. I don't know. It's weird, strange, but I didn't think it was serious. I just wondered.
Scratch the back of the head a little, that's all. But if I am healthy, are doctors even real? I mean, they spend years dealing with different medical issues and I realize that each patient is kind of an individual case, but somehow all these suspected diagnoses seem strange to me. It's like being put in a drawer so that you can be sorted out if the mistake is not corrected. As if one is causing a mistake similarly senseless as DDD in the social system.
I understand why they'd refer you to an ear specialist. It sounds like you have a problem with your sense of balance. My guess for why the ear specialist suggested you go to a neuropsychiatrist is that the ear specialist found nothing wrong with your ears, so it must be a problem with your brain.
