I had a friend, a great friend, who ended up "liking" me. He was a great guy as far as heart goes, but what put me off as far as dating him was his personality. I liked him and got along great with him as a friend but I knew I couldn't live with his personality as a boyfriend.
You can be a great, loyal, dependable person but your personality can overshadow those traits. An AWESOME personality can overshadow looks just the same. It's not always about looks.
