Is it normal to feel strong urges hate and violence towards my sister?

  • I used to get very angry (maybe violent 1 or 2 times) but the cause was negative thoughts in my mind. I was constantly imagining myself getting angry and fighting and imagining the whole confrontation and backandforth dialogue with the person I was mad at. This made the situation much worse then the reality.. and would escalate real life situations. LIke bitterness and resentment. Eventually I built a habit of dismissing negative thoughts before I could get into them. I built a habit of focusing on the positive and reviewing the good points instead. Now I am very calm and happy. I have more friends. Life is brighter. It's ALL THE POWER OF THOUGHT!
