Is it normal to feel stressed all the time?

I can go to the spa and have an amazing massage, feel great for a few hours but the stress is always back. Is this normal?

  • I can relate a bit and I think it's definitely not that good for you. I don't think that it's abnormal though..

  • I stress all the time too but I don't think its normal. My bf tells me to smoke weed and relax but that makes me stress even more!beer usually helps...maybe your dr can perscribe you some meds for anxiety or something..

  • Where do you think the root of your stress is coming from? Job? Friends? School? Is it something that you can make an effort to change? New job? Less classes? Try to make a consious effort to change what you can. Massage is great. Yoga also helps me a lot but like you said really only in the moment, but still feels great at the time. If you try different things without result you might want to talk to your doc. I take anxiety meds and it also helps me a lot. Good luck. It's not a fun feeling!

  • Unfortunately in this day and age yes it is normal but it doesn't have to stay that way. I recommend going to see a counselor. It's really helped me. If I can do it so can you. Also try reading the Bible it will seriously help. Read it before you go to sleep.
