No, everyone struggles. But remember it was not just the blacks who have struggled as a group. Many whites, latinos, asians etc. throughout history have dealt with many tragedies. I believe that no group, whether it be race, religion, etc. etc. Should be given any privileges. But treating equally since we all as human beings have to struggle throughout our lives. Although there is much argument and overall controversy on this topic.
But anyway.....
Are you white? If so.. you are having what is called: "White Guilt". Please, I personally think it is pathetic. Have pride, don't discriminate.
so true. we have all been convinced into beliving we are responsible for teh 'suffering' of balck people and are always taught that the african-eurpoean slave trade was racially motivated. its rubbish. my friend who is african born but raised in engladn has a slave in africa who lives at his fathers house. people are ignorant to this and simply want to blame people so blame the 'white people'. i am nto a 'white person', i am a person who is white. theres a difference. peoples ignroance to this really bugs me, and its a major form of racism in itself. we all need to NOT focus on who we are and stop catagorising everyone and just live amongst eachotehr regardles of who are what they are. here will never be peace and unity so long as people claim to belogn to a certain group.
Is it normal to feel sorry for African Americans?
