Is it normal to feel so insecure?

Hello,
I have a relationship with a wonderful guy that has lasted 3 years. He has not given me any reason not to trust him, but I feel very insecure. I trust him in everything but all of sudden I think he's cheating and he's not. Now, he's going to enter to the university, while I'm finishing my last high school year and I get pretty upset thinking about the difference of being in the university. I don't want anything to change but I think I'm attracting the problems between us if I keep thinking about it. Any help?

    Don't get me wrong. I don't act out my insecurities because I know that it will drive him to the arms of another woman. I act perfectly normal but although I want to trust him because he hasnt done anything wrong, its quite hard for me.
    The good news is I've been working on this inner conflict" and I've progressing, you know trying to shake off the weird feeling of insecurity.. it has worked! :)

    Any time there is a big change in a relationship it can be scary. You have to find a way to trust him. Acting out on your insecurety will drive him to the arms of another woman. No guy likes the clingy, needy girl constantly asking about your feelings. Guys would rather be alone than deal with that.

    i wouldn't be with someone i couldn't fully trust and i'm not the jealous type either, so i find it difficult to understand where you are coming from.
    exactly why don't you trust him? what has he done?

    Yeah. Although he has never cheated on me, and I want to trust him, because I have no reason of not doing so and trust is an essential part of a relationship, so I don't want my insecurity to make anything worse.

    I understand what you mean. Only it's the other way around for me. My boyfriend feels insecure since I'm in my last year of hs and going into college next year. He thinks I'm going to meet a new guy better than him or something.
