No, I don't think I've ever gotten that feeling. In fact, I mind my own business and let them carry on about there's. This reminds me of a time where I went on a trip with my camp group and we stopped buy McShitty. I got nothing and I sat down with my friends. There was a old woman eating fries at the table next to us and I don't know but maybe I was looking dejected or it was my weight, but out of the blue the woman starts to talk to me. She asked if I wanted her half eaten fries! She going on about how she was done eating and so on. Me and my friends were dead silent and just stared at her. She was dead serious about this so I told her "No, thank you", but she continued with her offer. After about the 3rd or 4th time she finally gave up and supposedly left. We were all weirded out...
Which should occur to you, that just because they're "old" doesn't mean that they're pure of heart or decrepit. You don't know them... They could be the sort of people you want to meet or still have their sharp minds. We all age and all die.
Is it normal to feel sad when you see an old person eating alone?
