    I'm a tad confused. Your boyfriend thinks he wants to be a girl? Are you going to stay with him if he's transgender?

    And I can understand your reaction to it. My ex girlfriend started calling herself a guy shortly after we broke up, and I'm relieved that didn't happen while we were dating. I want her/him to be happy, but that would have been too hard to deal with.

      Indeed, he wants to be a female. Apparently everything about him that I fell in love with wasn't really him and now he's upset because he wants me to love him as a she, but I'm not into it and it just blows, honestly.

        It's okay to have a preference. If you don't like girls, then you can be honest with him. And dating a transgender person comes with a whole suite of problems... I don't like to sound transphobic, but it would be easier if you had met someone who had already transitioned, you know? Going through the transition will be very difficult.
