  • Well it's nothing to be ashamed of, but technically it's nothing to be proud of either, since you didn't actually acomplish anything by just liking a certain hobby. But you'd have to be a complete downer to think like that, it's good and healthy to be proud of yourself for just being you. It's the same for people who are proud for being gay or being Irish, they didn't accomplish anything by being born a certain way, but there's no good reason they shouldn't feel proud of it either. So feel proud of yourself man!

  • Nothing to be proud of. Your just doing something slightly more fun than watching tv. And about as expensive as cable.nor is it unique. Honestly my gaming is at an all time low. I sold my consoles months ago and was gonna buy a computer. I have the money to buy the setup j want tight now but I've just lost interest in it. All I got left is my switch and I'm content. Certain ganes like mordhau make me tempted though

  • Gamers rise up

  • There are exceptions.
Like players that can make a living at it.
Or are smart enough to create the games and make money.
Most gamers Ive known just seemed lazy and often had a bad odor.
Like they hadn't bathed in several days.
    I dont see the pride.

  • I don't think it's anything to be proud of at all.

  • I actually think gaming is a waste of time. But that's just my opinion. It's not a judgment on the gamers themselves.

  • I don’t know why you would be proud of doing something counterproductive. I mean unless you’re someone like PewDiePie I think he should be proud of being a gamer. But that’s just because he makes Hella money from something sort of stupid. Not saying games aren’t Fun, but, I don’t go around saying that I’m proud of myself for being able to read a book. But just because you can play games does not make you unique.

  • It's as normal to be proud of gaming as it is for people to be proud of a sports team/event. Ultimately, we have nothing or little to do with achieving something. We're simply there to witness other peoples works/achievements. You can love what you do, which is great. But I wouldn't feel as though I personally achieved something significant by finishing a game nor watching a team win a sporting match. Hobbies are hobbies.

  • Yes, fucking hell. It's the Age of the Nerds. Get used to the program. Nerds even score all the chicks they want.

  • it is not normal to feel proud to be a gamer

    Comment Hidden ( show )
  • No it's not wrong.

    Comment Hidden ( show )
  • No it's not. Plenty of people are gamers so it's about as far from unique as you can possibly get. Also it's not exactly an accomplishment. Wow, you can play video games. How cool.

  • Not really something I'd brag too much about. I mean, people have hobbies. But to be proud of it? Nah.

    • U can proud of UR hobbies why not.... A Hobby is "what we wanna do all the time" so, I think it is normal to be proud of

      • No, a hobby is something we like to do on the side. When you do it all the time it's called an obsession, which isn't healthy.
