I meet awesome guys all the time but am never attracted AT ALL to any of them. 7 years ago I met someone that I was immediately intensely infatuated with and grew to love quickly. We only knew each other in person a few months, but kept in touch on and off for several years. I have never even imagined kissing anyone else, and go years at a time without kissing anyone at all. I still think of him every day and dream of him a lot. It hurts, because I see what I'm missing out on. No one can force themselves into, or out of, love. My sexuality doesn't exist outside of my feelings for him. He loved me too and eventually named his daughter after me -- obviously it's not possible for us to be together.

Is It Normal?

    its great but your still obsessed with him. When you learn to move on, it will get better. Ever watch Sleepless in Seattle? That is probably how it feels for you right now, you just gotta be patient.

    Yes, we have little choice on who we fall in love with, and love like this can sometimes last a lifetime! This is normal but somewhat rare in your situation! Good luck with your choices
