I'm now over weight, after being on the low end of healthy weight for most of my life. I really struggle with it. I struggle with it most days! It's hard!
I think it's very normal to struggle and worry about it. I do! It's the society we live in. So many people don't like when others are overweight or bigger than they are.
But, it does NOT make them right!!! You are not your weight! You're your personality, beliefs, morals. You are how you treat others.
Just because you currently view yourself as overweight, it has NO effect on who you are!
I've learned that I don't want people in my life that judge others based on weight and such. It's actually a great way to weed people out of your life.
I've found a great, supportive, and yes, chubby boy that gets it. He goes through the same thing. He knows that weight has nothing to do with a person. We've been together for years and it's not been an issue.
On the other hand my dad has always judged my mom on her just slightly bigger than average weight. After over 30 years she finally realized that he was treating her horrible about that and other things having to do with looks even though she's a kind, funny, and adorable woman. He left for a skinny chic and she's been happier than she's been in years.
It's normal to feel like you do. But it doesn't make the the other people right. Screw them!
Is It Normal to Feel Not Good Enough?
