Weirdest thing it could be is temporal lobe epilepsy but there's usually more to it than that, and it's not associated specifically with standing up.. O.o I've gotten lightheaded before like that, especially if I don't eat a lot that day, but never any kind of smell..

The weird thing is that I actually have a condition that causes syncope specifically associated with standing up.
