15Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him. 16For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world. 17And the world passeth away, and the lust thereof: but he that doeth the will of God abideth for ever.~1 John 2:15 KingJamesVersion(Holy Bible)
It's perfectly normal,I'm a Christian and I feel the exact same way.Worry about being the change you want to see in the world. You can change yourself to be better but never try to force that belief on others, just love them as Jesus Christ loves you. However if you have a negative relationship and that person only points out your faults all the time, then you can have compassion towards that person but not necessarily be with that person.
Religion is the root of a lot of hatred and conflict in this world. How about being nice to people because you know its the right thing to do without some old 2000+ year old book telling you to.
You do have a point, I'm sorry if I came off as a religious person.Being nice should be something we do naturally, not because the Holy Bible/holy doctrine tells you too.As far as religion causing a lot of hatred and conflict, there is also some good that can come out of religion as long as I don't impose my beliefs over anyone else's either.
P.S:It's always good to be open minded about things, thanks for the discussion.
Is it normal to feel like the world kind of sucks?
