That last part there, I definitely relate to that. It makes perfect sense to me. I'm constantly making these connections and coming up with possible conclusions (often many conclusions until I'm at least somewhat satisfied with one). And I will hold onto these conclusions as truth, mentally collecting related data until proven otherwise, in which case I will alter my theory or simply move on to the next thing. However I know it is very likely that I'm just perpetuating something through my imagination.Still, these things feel very real sometimes and even the physical world and other people might seem to be affected by them.
With that said, I can't deny the possibility that this girl has somehow traveled backwards in time, aside from the paradoxes and such. I haven't considered her consciousness traveling back, but I can assure you it will be on my mind now. At the same time, I know it's a silly thought.
It's so similar to me, what you're describing, really.
I'm exactly the same - because it's so hard to figure out what it all means, so yeah - you come up with theories - that probably sound bat shit insane? (I have so far kept mine to myself for this reason) - And I know they're crazy.
So, really really unlikely. But it also feels really really real - and things ARE significant - so it's almost like, you don't want to risk just dismissing all this stuff, because you could be missing out on something huge...
I don't know about the mental illness side - it just seems a more plausible explanation. That said, I don't think either of us would be committed enough to suddenly become fully nuts (its not like its a problem)! I mean I definitely don't fully believe this stuff, but I can't ignore it either.
And also it's the fact that it's Not all in your head, as well. Like, when you say the physical world is affected by them etc. I'm not sure if you have an example?
I don't know.....I'm glad to talk to you though. I'm not sure if there's stuff you want to describe in more detail or anything? There's probably so much to tell... so I dunno.
Is it normal to feel like some people you meet are from the future?
