Is it normal to feel like my brain is shutting down?

  • Are you on any medication? Like psiquiatric drugs for the treatment of anxiety and panic? Sometimes anxiety stays there inside you for so long, your brain tends to alarm the primitive parts of it (the one humans needed to just hide/run/attack) so you're like on that mode now. Your brain doesn't WANT to think, because it feels constantly threatened-as if you were in a primitive situation with tigers chasing after you and stuff. Maybe your brain is in survival mode and the rational part is being overwhelmed by the primitive part. That can be solved with ceratin drugs. You have to visit a doctor. Good Luck

    • Thanks:). I have been having physical tests done on me to make sure it's just anxiety and derealization. They were going to put me on medication about a year and a half ago but decided doing a few more tests would be good, just to be on the safe side. I am going to the doctors again next month, for ten to talk things over with me about what they think is best. I will be updating:)
