I think I know what you mean. I feel like 'myself' is in a dark void and my body is just going through the movements. Like I'm on autopilot. I'm still aware of things around me, but everything is kind of cloudy and uncomfortable. It feels as if I go to different places, while my body goes through the movements, and I just observe. It's really frustrating.
Is it normal to feel like my brain is shutting down?
