That is because they do not. Everyone goes by feelings even in politics. They operate with greed. Sex is another huge draw back that people tend to take too far often. That or just are not doing it responsibly. If you think with any kind of logic or reasoning you are mad! You are a monster and you will be shunned. Fact is emotions are pointless if things are not operating correctly. If you are still sitting in a pile of shit that is still shit. You can smile and grin all you want but no matter how you feel nothing is going to change that. People base everything on love, sex, greed. When love is hardly even obtainable. Most people do not take relationships seriously and are very selfish. They do not consider the feelings of others or the needs of other for that matter. They live in their own worlds which mean we all need to fuck, hook up and possibly make babies. They do not care about where we live, how we get the home, or even if our partner stays. Just that is the huge priority everyone now a day seems to live by. Which is ridiculous but we must either follow it or be hated.
I can't remember who, and I dont feel like looking it up, but I remember hearing some theory that reason/"common sense" itself is just a tool that we all use to excuse our purely emotional, instinctual behaviors to other people.
People who are overly emotional will be upset by simple "Facts" and just because you know and knowing the FACTS does not mean you have to be a snob. This is the issues. People who think they know everything or have everything will often become snobs. People who only think with emotions will ignore the fact to save what fragile minds they have. Some people agree with FACT but hate being treated poorly by snobs. So they would purposely disagree with that fact for the reason they hate being treated like shit.

Get it? FACT? We have FACT and we have OPINION. Do we need to produce energy to keep our bodies going FACT. This little piece of knowledge can be applied to a lot of things.
