First of all, you were definitely meant to be born. Otherwise, you wouldn't be here. Try not to dwell on the fact that the umbilical cord was knotted or wrapped around your neck. That happens to a lot of babies; it's simply a part of life.
You're not crazy and you don't SOUND crazy, either. Your feelings matter and should ALWAYS be taken into consideration by others. Feeling like an "old soul" and like you "don't belong here" is normal for a LOT of people. It's not always a sign of mental illness OR delusions of grandeur. Feeling out of place in the world is NORMAL for many people. And, feeling like you're different from anybody you've ever met (or that you have a higher purpose in life) is quite normal, too. It usually means that you DO have a higher calling! You're probably more mature than most people your age and tend to get along better with older folks.
God has a plan and a purpose for your life! You don't yet know what it is, but you'll learn by living. Read the Bible, starting with the New Testament (at the Book of John), and I can assure you that by the time you're finished with the New Testament, you'll finally understand what's going on in your heart, in your mind, and in your life.
You're not crazy - You really DO have a higher calling! Don't always think about "energy and the universe and the value of life." Be VERY careful with "New Age" spirituality! It will take you nowhere. Be careful of Scientology, Wicca, and any other religion that strays from God. Think about God, get into the Bible and find peace in finally knowing what's going on!
It may be that you're meant to become a missionary, which explains your need to help people. Leading people to the Lord is the most important thing that anyone can do. You'll see miracles, you'll hear and feel things that this world can't provide or explain, you'll experience things not of this world, and you'll feel at peace with everything.
