it's a lot more common than you may think. but there is a medical term for it, it's called "derealization", it's actually a symptom of anxiety. google it to learn more about it. but you're lucky that it only happens to you for short periods of time, because a lot of people deal with this for years at a time. it's almost like watching a movie, nothing feels real. scary stuff.
