Ok I can't believe no one has the right answer so far. It's not schizophrenia. People are idiots, haha. It's called disassociation. Everyone does it. Like whenever you go upstairs and totally forgot what you were gonna do for example. But there is a scale for disassociation to measure how intense it is. Some people have it so bad it causes them to almost forget who they are and that causes them to have multiple personalities. It used to be called mpd multiple personality disorder, but it was changed to DID, Disassociative identity disorder. like I said you may not have it bad enough to have multiple personalities but that is very clearly disassociation. Also in response to the comment where they said they had the same problem whenever something tramautic happens, that is 100% normal. Disassociation is a very normal way people cope with tramautic experiences. I would just try to find a psychiatrist and have them do it a disassociation scale questionnaire with you. My sources are my personal experiences, and over 10 years of research. Google it, you may find you have more symptoms than you thought. Good luck
Is it normal to feel like I'm dreaming when I'm awake?
