I do not understand where you see your failure in all this. He had the accident; did you make him crash? He left the scene; I'm sure he knew better and I'm also sure you were a big part of his knowing that.
This whole thing is tragic, but in no way do I see any of your adult's son's decisions as being your failure.

Thank you for your thoughts. Logically I understand what you said. The heart wants to blame myself for where did I go wrong.
