ok so my grandma gave all of her grandkids a 1000 dollars so i was super happy and thankfull and i whent out and blew it on synths, the next week i talked to my cousin and she called me a dick for takeing the money and blowing it cause grandma needs money and she only gave us the money cause it was my grandpas last wishes so is it normal for me to feel like a dick?
I don't think she needs money that badly if she can just give you a thousand bucks out of the blue.
If there weren't any specific rules or anything attached to the money, then grandpa obviously wanted you to spend it how ever you wished. You're cousin needs to stop being a busy body and fuck off though. Who died and made her queen of your money stuff? It's your money not hers. And if grandma needs money so badly, why didn't she give her money to grandma? If she did, then good for her, that's how she used her money. As long as it's not illegal, then it's non of her business how you use your money.
it depends on condition. but you didnt do it intentionally though you could have given a bit more consideration. i dont know how needy she was but grandchildren are grandparents heart. they know it. and they love it. they love doing things for their kids. even more than your parents i bet. its a natural relationship thing. she might have needed the money but she loved doing it and might have felt proud also. so stop worrying and just love her and help her out some day and show love and gratitude. she'll just love it.
