A lot of what you're feeling is normal, but remember that all life is precious, even if you can't see it yet. Every single screw in a giant space station is vital. Things will get better, and you'll see how you fit in in a vital way to the whole world. A year abroad is very common and often a very uplifting experience.
But we're all not part of a giant space station, are we? Earth is like a shiny pebble on a sandy beach. Take away that pebble, is it the same beach? Yes.
The universe will change if Earth disappeared, but only slightly. Your concept would only apply if Earth was 'everything that existed'. Even then, Earth will still rotate if one person out of billions killed himself? Many people die every day.
Not saying life is hopeless, just that the universe isn't based on US specifically.
Is it normal to feel life isn't worth living?
