I think it is definitely rude for him to openly say how attracted he is to other people, but I honestly don't think he means anything by it. He wouldn't be with you if he didn't find you attractive.
You can approach this issue by telling him that you wish he would do more to make you feel sexy. Don't accuse him or attack him, but tell him that you sometimes don't feel attractive to him. Do not accuse him of finding other people attractive, that will seem controlling.
You should also work on your feelings of insecurity, since this is the root of the problem. I don't know how you can do this - I wish I could help though :P
